Asam Pedas Kepala Ikan Merah


  • 800gm Cili Giling Maz
  • 3kg Red Fish Head
  • 24 Small Red Onions (minced)
  • 16 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 large onions (minced)
  • a pinch of ginger (ground)
  • 8 Stalks Kesom Leaf
  • 10 Cups of Water
  • 2 Cups of Cooking Oil
  • a little bit ginger
  • a little bit asam gelugor (asam keping)
  • a little bit seasoning powder and salt


  • Heat the oil, stir-fry the ground ingredients.
  • Add Cili Giling Maz, stir-fry again until crisp.
  • Add water with salt and let it boil.
  • Add the red fish head.
  • Add asam gelugor (asam keping)
  • Add kesom leaves, boil until the fish is completely cooked.
