Company History

This business was initially run on a small scale by Haji Othman bin Teik with his wife Hajjah Maznah binti Wagiman in 1983 in Rantau Panjang, Selangor.

The small enterprise ran smoothly and progressed until 1989 Hj. Othman has decided to expand the market to the south of the country. A small factory has been set up in a shop building in Taman SEDC, Tampoi, Johor Bahru.

On March 25, 1992, Hj Othman together with his partners agreed to establish a company named PERUSAHAN MAZ SDN BHD which continues to remain advanced and become a strong competitor in the chili processing industry in Malaysia.

The chili processing factory has moved to Kampung Sungai Danga, Tampoi. The products produced are increasingly diversified. The company prospered and the products were marketed all over the peninsula. In fact, MAZ products have been successfully exported to Singapore and still remain to this day.

The company, which is 100% owned by Malaysian Muslim bumiputera, continues to grow until it successfully establishes a branch in Melaka to help smooth marketing throughout the country. Now not only retail stores and small supermarkets sell MAZ products, but MAZ products can be found in all Hyper supermarkets nationwide.

In 2014, the company moved to the Kejora GMP Incubator Factory, Bandar Tenggara. This move allowed the company to develop GMP and HACCP systems to achieve global quality standards. The new factory in the Southeast City is more modern, equipped with better machines and equipment and has a more hygienic and dynamic environment, in accordance with the GMP and HACCP practices that want to be implemented.
